Exeze Pico 5 FM Transmitter
It transmits your music from your iPhone/iPod/iPad in High Fidelity Stereo to any FM receiver enabling you to listen to your music in your car, in your home, on the beach, or just anywhere there is an FM radio.
It is designed for the iPod nano 5G, iPod classic all models, iPad, and the iPhone 3G and newer.
It will also work with iPod nano 4G and iPod nano 6G, however, the design does not match so there will be an awkward fit.
- Snap on the FM transmitter to your iPhone / iPod / iPad and play music.
- Tune your FM radio receiver to an unused (blank) frequency channel and adjust the volume.

This is the case in some densely populated areas and then it will not work. If you try anyway there will be static and distortions disturbing the listening experience.
Static and distortions occur when the FM Transmitter and another radio station are transmitting on the same frequency. Since different radio stations cover different areas then you can experience static and distortions when driving into an area where there is a radio station transmitting on the same frequency as the FM Transmitter is transmitting on, even though everything worked fine at the start of the journey.
To fix the problem switch to another frequency:
- Tune your FM radio receiver to an unused (blank) frequency channel.
- Set the frequency of the FM Transmitter to the same frequency as for your receiver.
Up to 10 meters. When there are objects between the FM Transmitter and the receiver the range is reduced depending on how high the radio wave interference is. For the best listening experience then make sure there are no objects between the FM Transmitter and the receiver.
Solution 1 - change frequency:
Static and distortions occur when the FM Transmitter and another radio station are transmitting on the same frequency.
To fix the problem switch to another frequency:
- Tune your FM radio receiver to an unused (blank) frequency channel.
- Set the frequency of the FM Transmitter to the same frequency as for your receiver.
Solution 2 - move the FM Transmitter
Static and distortions can also occur due to the objects around you. If changing frequency does not work then you can try moving the FMT5 to another location since objects surrounding the FM Transmitter and the receiver can interfere with the radio signals the FM Transmitter is transmitting.
When in a car the best location is often some distance away from the radio antenna depending on the make of the car and the car’s radio interference properties.
Any that your iPod / iPhone / iPad can play. The FM Transmitter will transmit any audio that your iPod / iPhone / iPad generates from any source - from MP3 files, video files, streaming radio stations, etc.
